Our quickly growing Civil Engineering firm client based in Austin is seeking a Land Project Surveyor to join their team. An ideal candidate must be an RPLS; still actively drafting surveys with a wide array of experience on the land survey side (not oil & gas). The company culture is hands down, top in the city. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Office Administration – Including but not limited to review of scope & services, fulfillment of survey work requests, calculation checks
• Training & Team Building – Including but not limited to establishment of project teams, management and evaluation of staff, on-the-job coaching and training
• Professional Development – Including but not limited to seeking active, technical and managerial training and involvement in professional organizations
• Field Assistance - Candidates should be willing and able to conduct site visits and/or assist crews in the field when necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree, RPLS and 5+ years of experience drafting, research, boundary resolution, legal descriptions, plats and data processing
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate projects and effective communication skills are a must.
• Experience in AutoCAD design required
• Prior experience as a Survey Technician a plus
