    We’re looking for a Director of Product to join our team! Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment?     You’ll report directly to our CEO and be part of our Senior Management team, working to create educational software products based on cutting-edge research and technology that we hope will make a transformative difference in kids’ lives.  You’ll develop strategy with senior management, drive feature prioritization with your team, and work with decision makers at our clients and partners, including colleges and universities, school districts, publishers, assessment companies, and other organizations involved in preK-16 education.

    Responsibilities will include:

    1. Product and Portfolio Roadmap

    • Define and prioritize product requirements.
    • Incorporate feedback from research, development, educational experts and market.
    • Support data collection for further research.
    • Identify business and partnership opportunities.

    2. Market Research

    • Competitive analysis.
    • Customer needs.
    • User personas.
    • Product metrics.

    3. Manage and Mentor Product Owner Group

    • Develop and implement plan for growing and managing a team of product owners.
    • Work closely with Engineering and Research teams to ensure alignment on product development initiatives and timeline to completion.

    4. Customer Relationship Management

    • Define and implement a product support system.
    • Manage development partners and Beta users.

    Requirements:

    • Years of experience? 10+
    • 5+ years of experience managing and mentoring people
    • Experience in delivering solutions for K-12 and/or post-secondary education markets a plus
    • Experience transitioning products from research/experimentation to production development a plus
