JOB PURPOSE:
To support operations in all aspects of accounting, adherence to corporate policies and procedures, and continuous improvement. Assist in the establishment and preparation of operating and capital plans and projections.
As a member of the operations finance team, this position helps drive the achievement of challenging financial goals by using a consistent set of tools while demonstrating exemplary customers service skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS
- Coordinate reporting to provide accurate and timely financial information for monthly reviews, quarterly projections, and annual planning.
- Provide analysis regarding inbound, outbound, and plant-to-warehouse freight.
- Review, support, and guide cost center managers with budgeting, accruals, and performance analysis.
- Assist in data analysis and reporting in regards to complicated incentive programs.
- Lead and participate in and lead cost reduction initiatives.
- Deliver financial support to cost center managers including analysis, IAR support, estimate alignment, month end accrual review and other related items.
- Implement Actionable Financial Information (AFI) initiatives that simplify and automate processes.
INVENTORY CONTROL
- Collaborate, analyze, and provide recommendations regarding excess and obsolete raw materials, work in process, and service parts inventories.
- Monitor and report on ABC cycle counting metrics.
SOURCING SUPPORT
- Analyze, report, and support the sourcing team specifically with purchases, manufacturing price variances, and purchase price variances.
- Identify, investigate, recommend corrective action, and correct issues while working with multiple people in multiple departments.
OTHER

SPECIFICATIONS:
- BS Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting. Advanced degree and/or certification preferred.
- Five years of experience in planning, budgeting, and accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- Excel proficiency required. SAP, BI tools, Qlikview, TM1, and Hyperion knowledge is strongly preferred.
