    The Goddard School of Celina, TX is looking for passionate and energetic Teachers to expand and lead our enrichment programs throughout our school! This is such a fun role! Enrichments include but are not limited to programs such as Spanish, Time-To-Sign, Music & Movement, etc. We are a state-of the-art Learning Academy with competitive pay, an amazing working environment, on-site owner, and the knowledge that the work you do does not go unnoticed! The children need respectable, honest, and nurturing people to show them how to make a positive impact in our world. We offer a clean and exciting atmosphere for both children and teachers with an annual plan for professional staff development. We are open to hiring for both full and part time in this position.

    Qualifications:

    2+ years experience of prior classroom or child care experience

    Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Positive attitude and inherent love for young children

    Job Purpose:

    Nurtures children by developing and providing educational programs; keeping parents informed; remain positive; self-motivation.

    • Stimulates emotional, intellectual, and social growth of children by developing and directing educational programs and activities tailored to assigned class.

    • Provides safe environment by maintaining orderly, clean, and appealing facilities; removing known safety hazards.

    • Encourages children's participation by providing interactive activities.

    • Informs staff and parents of curriculum by preparing and submitting lesson plans; posting schedules and curriculum outlines.

    • Keeps parents informed by posting parent information in the classroom; maintaining and sharing records of child's progress, attendance, and behavior.

    • Encourages development of children's self-control by utilizing classroom management and modeling techniques.

    • Maintains center's professional status by supervising, training, and evaluating staff and/or field experience students.

    • Encourages consistency of service by maintaining communications with parents and staff.

    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
