    We’re hiring a skilled tax professional and enrolled agent to help clients file taxes more efficiently. You’ll educate businesses and individual clients on tactics to optimize their tax payments and advise them on how to save more in the future. You'll also prepare and submit tax filings, including 1040 and appropriate Schedules, 1041, 1023/1023-S, 706, 709, and related returns and filings. Applicants should be strong communicators who can simplify complex tax information and provide excellent customer service. This position is full-time, year-round, and salaried with full benefits, including: • Health, dental, vision, life, short-and-long-term disability (100% of employee premiums paid) • 401(k) with 3% employer match • PTO and Sick Time • Hybrid work environment • Licensing, dues, and CE expenses Responsibilities: • Use all eligible tax benefits for the client • Handle tax filings in an organized, secure manner to ensure each client’s privacy is protected • Analyze each client’s financial records, including their income statements and previous tax returns to calculate the amount of taxable income each client possesses • Tell clients about the tax process and what the deadlines are to make sure everything gets turned in on time • Serve as a liaison between tax authorities and the client, submitting the final tax forms on their behalf Qualifications: • At least five years of experience in tax preparation • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Has a valid PTIN from the Internal Revenue Service • Familiar with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel • Experience using standard tax software to file returns • Experience handling both basic and advanced levels of tax service, and has in-depth knowledge of the tax code, state tax laws, and federal tax laws • Valid and current Enrolled Agent license Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly
