The Enrollment Management Trainee is a leadership development role within a technical career college, designed to prepare high-performing admissions professionals for future management positions. This role combines hands-on admissions responsibilities with structured management training, focusing on ethical recruiting, enrollment performance, team leadership, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, professional, and committed to helping prospective students make informed decisions about their education and career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & Enrollment Management
Conduct consultative admissions interviews with prospective students to assess career goals, motivation, and program fit.
Present educational programs, admissions requirements, tuition, and financial aid information accurately and ethically.
Manage prospective student leads through phone, text, email, and in-person follow-up in alignment with enrollment goals.
Support campus enrollment objectives while maintaining compliance with all institutional, state, accrediting, and federal regulations.
Schedule and conduct campus tours, information sessions, and enrollment appointments.
Leadership Training & Development
Participate in a structured Admissions Manager training program focused on leadership, coaching, compliance, and performance management.
Shadow Admissions Managers to learn day-to-day operations, staff oversight, reporting, and workflow management.
Develop skills in motivating, coaching, and holding admissions representatives accountable to performance expectations.
Team Support & Performance Monitoring
Assist with tracking admissions metrics, conversion rates, and lead activity.
Support coaching sessions and training activities for admissions representatives.
Model professionalism, ethical behavior, and a student-first approach while working in a performance-driven environment.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate and complete student records within the CRM and student information systems.
Ensure all admissions activities comply with Title IV regulations, accrediting standards, and institutional policies.
Participate in audits, internal reviews, and compliance training as required.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Strong sales, customer service, or admissions background with measurable performance results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High ethical standards and commitment to compliant recruiting practices.
Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented, metrics-driven environment.
Ability to travel to campuses as needed.
