About Mathnasium At Mathnasium Learning Centers, our mission is to empower children with a deep understanding and mastery of mathematics while fostering a genuine love for the subject. We use the Mathnasium Method™ to deliver customized learning plans that help students succeed in math and in life.

Position Summary We are seeking an Enrollment & Outreach Specialist who will play a key role in growing our center by connecting with families, schools, and community partners. This role combines family engagement, community outreach, and enrollment support with a strong foundation in math knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you should not only enjoy building relationships and organizing outreach activities, but also have the math proficiency (Algebra 1 or higher) to clearly explain student progress and our instructional plans to parents.

Primary Responsibilities Community Outreach (≈60%)

Build partnerships with schools, PTAs, libraries, after-school programs, and community organizations.

Represent Mathnasium at community events, math nights, and school fairs.

Organize and host outreach activities (STEM nights, assessment days, family workshops).

Track leads generated from events and follow up promptly.

Enrollment & Family Engagement (≈40%)

Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families: answer inquiries, schedule and conduct free assessments.

Present Mathnasium programs to parents and guide them through the enrollment process.

Clearly explain student progress, learning goals, and instructional updates using your math knowledge.

Support the Parent Ambassador referral program to encourage family-to-family recommendations.

Conduct regular parent communication and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and encourage renewals.

Qualifications

Math Proficiency: Strong math foundation is required; proficiency in Algebra 1 and core middle/high school math concepts is essential.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to explain academic progress with clarity and confidence.

Outgoing personality with a passion for relationship-building and community involvement.

Organized and self-motivated; able to manage multiple events and follow-ups.

Prior experience in education, customer service, or outreach preferred.

Familiarity with local schools, PTAs, or community groups in Snoqualmie Valley is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

$22–25/hour base pay, depending on experience.

$100 bonus per new student enrollment you generate.

Flexible part-time schedule (20–25 hours per week).

Training and ongoing support from the Center Director and Owner.
