Automation Engineer

Location: Durham, NC

Contract: $65-75 per hour

Type: 6 month Contract

Overview:

This is a full-time position involving project and contract work in office, on customer manufacturing sites or a combination of both. Duties will vary depending on the specific project, but may include system design, implementation, installation, validation, and startup as well as customer support. Candidates must be detail oriented and flexible self-starters with a strong work ethic.

Position may include occasional travel with a Monday through Friday schedule. Competitive salary & benefits package with additional income opportunities. All applicants must hold a valid US driver’s license. Relocation required.

Desired Relevant Experience & Training

– PLC and HMI programming on various platforms (Rockwell preferred)

– Drives and motion control on various platforms

– Microsoft operating systems, office, and networking

– Electrical design & troubleshooting

– GMP knowledge & experience
