    Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an Experienced Executive Assistant for a position in Flint, MI. The Executive Assistant will provide executive level support by managing personal calendars, attending meetings as requested, and they will be a liaison between the Board of Trustees and the organization. This is a contract position with the opportunity to go direct based on job performance, attitude, attendance, etc. Pay is based on experience. Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to the President and CEO and VP of Finance and Administration.

    • Order supplies for the organization as needed.

    • Manager President and CEO’s calendar; ensuring they are prepared for their meetings in advance.

    • Attend Board and Committee meetings, prepare rooms, and take minutes.

    • Serve as a primary source of information to staff and patrons about programs and services.

    • Interacts with Board, staff, outside organizational representatives, patrons and vendors; at times, representing the organization at special events and in committee meetings.

    • Sort and distribute mail

    • Prepares correspondence to respond to internal inquiries from employees and external inquiries from outside individuals, institutions, and vendors, for own or supervisor’s signature. Compose, edit, and proofread key office materials.

    • Conducts research and prepares reports and presentations as requested.

    • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area and overnight travel may be expected.

    • Additional duties, as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High school education or equivalent is required with a Bachelor of Business Administration preferred.

    • A minimum of three years executive assistant, secretarial, office, or related experience is required.

    • Previous work experience with non-profits and/or the performing arts is beneficial.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ease with both telephone and in-person contacts

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Preparation of minutes and short documents

    • Problem solving skills

    • Ability to handle sensitive information

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Excel, Word – advanced skill set

    • Ability to work independently

    • Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license

    • Must pass a drug test and criminal background check
