TechConnect is seeking an Enterprise Architect – Level III for an industry leading client in Tulsa, OK. Our client is looking for an individual with a proven track record overseeing a broad IT portfolio, an individual who has built an Enterprise Architecture program/practice, or has been involved in establishing an Enterprise Architecture program/practice from the ground up.

As the Enterprise Architect you will work with all the IT Architects to ensure best practices and compliance. You will focus on the entire enterprise (time keeping, payroll, cloud, data center, security compliance, etc.), you must be able to look at the enterprise as a whole, and tie everything together. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and management for the enterprise architecture. You will develop and maintain an enterprise-wide architecture that aligns with the company’s business goals to ensure efficient and effective use of IT resources. You will provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards and best practices. You will collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to understand business requirements, create architectural models, and provide strategic guidance to drive innovation and digital transformation. You will take a standardized approach to EA, preferably using the TOGAF framework. You will spend a majority of your time documenting standards and procedures. You will streamline critical workflow for executing key processes, set priorities for addressing process problems that limit performance, and develop methods for improving and establishing controls for critical processes. In this position, you will not be in charge of implementing the solutions, this position is focused on centralization, standardization, documentation and best practices.

To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally. You need to be well-rounded in Enterprise Architecture and have a strong understanding of enterprise and business applications. You must be able to discuss technical information with users, discern their needs, and gather requirements and processes while communicating in non-technical terminology. You will develop a clear and complete understanding of needs and problems through listening, asking good questions and discussing solutions. You will use effective decision making approaches, discuss ideas, perspectives, and historical frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent job related experience/knowledge.
• 5+ years’ enterprise architecture experience; IT construction experience is preferred.
• TOGAF experience is highly desired.
• Extensive knowledge in application and database management, infrastructure design, cybersecurity, and other relevant technologies.
• Ability to architect and implement comprehensive enterprise solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Proven track record of integrating diverse technologies to support business objectives and enhance operational performance.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their potential impact on enterprise architecture.
• Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidential information in a discreet manner.
• Learn and adapt quickly, work and remain calm under pressure.
• Fit in well within the organizational culture for interacting with others.
• Possess a positive attitude in meeting objectives.

Work Location

• Tulsa, OK office.
• Hybrid work environment – 3 days a week in the office.

Travel

• Occasional travel may be required in this role.
