About the Role:

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented Enterprise Data Architect to join our Data Hardening Team in Chicago, IL. In this critical role, you'll design and fortify enterprise-scale data systems that power smarter, more secure business decisions. Responsibilities:

Design and implement enterprise data architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices

Lead data hardening initiatives to improve data integrity, security, and reliability across systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business and technical requirements

Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and architecture documentation

Evaluate and integrate emerging data technologies, platforms, and cloud solutions

Identify vulnerabilities in existing data infrastructure and drive remediation strategies

Establish data governance policies and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, or a related field

Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing solutions

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)

Solid understanding of data security, data governance, and compliance frameworks

Experience with data hardening, vulnerability assessment, or data resilience strategies is a plus

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
