Contract Role
Length: 12 Months
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Hybrid location: Remote and 25%-50% onsite in Albany, NY
- Remote work is permitted when onsite presence is not necessary.
- Full remote may be possible based on candidate skills and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business leaders to develop and execute strategies that respond to industry trends and support business objectives.
- Translate business strategies into actionable plans and technology solutions.
- Engage and build lasting relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
- Adapt and respond effectively to changing business and operating models.
- Analyze trends and disruptions, assessing their impact on targeted business outcomes.
- Visualize future states and initiate long-term planning through storytelling.
- Support and advocate for both project-centric and product-centric operating models.
- Communicate the value and services of enterprise architecture effectively.
- Drive the evolution of the team’s services and operating model.
- Mentor and coach solution architects, product owners/managers, and business stakeholders, fostering a culture of architectural thinking.
- Experience in system integration, including integration design and execution.
- Skilled in creating contextual diagrams and technical documentation for cloud based environments.
- Design high-level technical architecture for cloud-based solutions.
- Create contextual architecture diagrams and documentation for proposed solutions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with client stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
- Attend onsite meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree. (An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered)
- Proven experience in designing and implementation of solutions in one or more of the following areas:
- Enterprise architecture and solution architecture leadership
- Technical leadership with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Technical leadership leveraging IAM technologies and solutions including but not limited to OAuth, Okta, SAML, OpenID Connect, NIST 800-63 based passkey implementations, and Entra.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data lake tech stack-based solutions.
- Quality assurance and load testing of cloud native data solutions
- Use of load testing tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, or similar.
- Technical architecture expertise in cloud-based and SaaS solutions such a Salesforce.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent in enterprise/solution architecture.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical architecture skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid onsite/remote setting.
