Retail Activation Specialist - West Covina, CA
Job Description
This is a field-based role based in California that is focused on is responsible for executing sales and marketing programs in in targeted grocery, mass/club, convenience, and chain liquor outlets. The role will be connected to the local distributor sales consultants and work directly with those sales professionals to plan, design, and execute activities that increase the rate of sale on Diageo US spirits brands at retail. You will leverage 3rd party marketing agencies, Diageo, and CPWS personnel and functions to equip yourself with supporting brand assets to make a positive impact in your stores to the benefit of the shoppers, the retailer, CPWS and Diageo brands. You will be directed by key performance indicators and measured against those same outcomes: incremental in store activity, incremental sales performance by store and share gains versus the competitive set.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
You will be responsible for the sellout performance of Diageo US spirits brands in a targeted set of chain outlets. These outlets will be chosen for their strategic consumer and customer importance and will be organized into a journey plan that you will then service and grow in cooperation with your CPWS sales consultants. You will develop strong rapport and trusting relationships with your CPWS counterpart and with key customer personnel.

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this job classification is between $60,000 and $68,000 annually and will be prorated semi-monthly for the temporary assignment.
The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
