    Job Description

    ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP: The Creative Intern will spend four days per week taking direction from the Creative Director and collaborating with the rest of the creative team. They will assist with design needs, concepting, participate in brainstorms and keep up to date with evolving cultural trends. Due to the need for Intern to work with liquor and interface with accounts serving liquor, and to comply with applicable regulations, applicants must be 21 or older.

    In addition, you will get exposure one day per week by working with the internal Inspira Marketing & Communications team to create outward-facing content for content marketing, thought leadership, social media assets, and other projects according to Inspira brand guidelines. Reports to Manager Marketing & Communications for weekly assignments.

    Office Hours: 9am to 5pm Average Hours: 35-40 hours per week Start Date: May 24, 2021 End Date: August 6, 2021 Compensation: This is an hourly paid internship

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR CREATIVE INTERNSHIP: Assist with graphic design needs including but not limited to: logos, mockups, creative activation elements and building presentations •    Comfortable working independently, problem solving and able to present design work •    Collaborate with all departments by demonstrating strong people skills and respect for all team members •    Participate in conceptual brainstorms by bringing fresh perspective and inspiration to working sessions •    Collaborate with the creative team to work on internal mission driven initiatives •    Must go beyond just design to think conceptually •    Keep current on social trends and unique design styles, technology and share back with the Creative team

    ADDITIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP: •    Designs infographics for thought leadership •    Creates social media assets for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn •    Translates white paper thought leadership into visually engaging, on-brand content •    Designs email templates, ads, and other marketing assets •    May work with other internal creative teams as needed

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    •    At least 3 years of college and working towards a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications Art, or related field with a background in Marketing •    Must be proficient in Adobe CC (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) •    PowerPoint capabilities are a plus to help us with client presentations •    Established portfolio that displays creativity and forward thinking •    Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects •    Comfortable presenting •    Additional skills in photography, video-editing, and copy writing are a plus •    Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects and Premiere preferred

    ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP: •    Proficient in Adobe Suite •    Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Mac •    Excellent communication skills •    Comfortable asking clarifying questions •    Creative and design aesthetics •    Knowledge of social media platforms and trends •    Excellent time management and prioritization skills •    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and complete projects in a timely manner •    Info Design and Strategy or Data Visualization Class Experience Preferred
