At U.GG we want to build the best tools to help gamers win more. We currently develop a desktop app and website for League of Legends. The U.GG website has over 30M visits per month, and our desktop app has over 800k downloads.

Job Overview
We are searching for an experienced Reverse Engineer. You will be working to extract in game data to build live tools to aid players as they are playing their favorite games. The first game we want to tackle is League of Legends, but we plan on adding more titles in the future.
We welcome remote work, but prefer working in person at our headquarters in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Create a templating system for overlays across different game engines (DirectX, OpenGL, etc.)
• Build a low-level C++ system to support multiple games
• Collaborating with developers, designers, and product owners on project details
• Working in an agile environment

Required Experience

• Experience with reverse engineering game engines
• Strong knowledge of C, C++
• Understand x86/x64 assembly language
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly to various audiences
• Experience with debuggers such as WinDbg, x64dbg, OllyDbg, or gdb
• Experience with disassemblers such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or radare2

Bonus

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security
• Experience building tools that automate cheat-related tasks
• Experience with reverse engineering or anti-cheat/anti-malware development
