    JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:

    Boeing’s Entry Level ADaPS Software PAC3L Developer organization in Huntsville, AL is looking for software developers to contribute to advanced development of the PAC3 missile defense system. ADaPS (an organization of over 100 software engineers) supports programs across the entire portfolio of Boeing products including Space Launch Systems (SLS) Upper Stage, Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD - missile defense), Commercial Space Crew Transportation System (CST-100), and Sophisticated Missile Defense efforts including Patriot Advanced Capability. ADaPS specializes in implementing rapid prototyping and development programs using small, adaptable agile teams.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contribute to development and fielding of integrated test systems used to develop, analyze, integrate and test PAC3 sensor system software

    • Work in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills.

    • Use your talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs.

    • Responsible for developing technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements.

    This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE):

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or electrical engineering

    • Experience do you have with C or C++ real time software development or have you completed college level coursework in C or C++ programming in a real time environment

    • Experience with Linux and windows development

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

    • Experience with MATLAB and/or Simulink

    • Experience Building pipelines, using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins

    • Experience with sensors (cameras, LiDAR, GPS-IMU), embedded systems, and system integration related physical systems

    • Experience in Unity game engine and Unity Scripting

    • Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and RS-422 communication protocols

    • Experience in telemetry and command and/or radio frequency test measurements techniques

    TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
