    Job Title: Entry Level Accounts Receivable Assistant

    Our Accounts Receivable Assistant offers experience in many areas of accounts receivable and administration and plays an integral role in providing accurate and detailed information and daily accounts receivable functions along with strong administrative support.

    Responsibilities:

    May include, but not limited to:

    Communicating with current and previous residents to request payment and arrange payment plans

    Collect payments from Residents and accurately record it into our system

    Update client accounts based on payments and/or contact information

    Work system to identify past due accounts and report payments

    Receive in Residential rent payments

    Be trained to process security deposits in accordance to Federal, State and Local laws.

    Process Notice to Vacate forms

    Follow up with residents on Move Out expectations

    Maintain tenant charges as needed

    Track and manage incoming payments and apply them into the system

    Help maintain accurate bookkeeping records

    Send past due tenant accounts to collections

    Receive keys from tenants moving out and enter information into system to begin the move out and make ready process

    Assist residents with Rent Café access.

    Scanning all documentation into attachments in Yardi or back - up system.

    Run Reports for Management

    Data Analysis

    Following up with tenant reviews to improve customer experience

    Assisting management with various projects

    Timely and accurate filing

    General Administrative tasks

    Qualifications/Skills:

    Willingness to learn the residential leasing and construction business

    Professional and able to work with minimal supervision

    Ability to learn new skills and be flexible

    Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task

    Ability to present information in a professional and clear manner

    Ability to think outside of the box and offer new ideas as communities grow

    Research projects and tasks as a self-starter

    Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with co-workers and management

    Ability to run with tasks and research information with limited instruction

    Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines

    Arrives for work as scheduled and on time

    Reliable transportation to and from work

    Ability to pass full background check and drug test

    Able to work as a team member.
