Pérez Law, PC is seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Attorney to join our Workers’ Compensation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or a candidate who has taken the California Bar Exam and is awaiting results. You will gain immediate litigation experience and the opportunity to develop a specialty in workers’ compensation law with mentorship and training from experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in workers’ compensation claims, including hearings, trials, depositions, and settlements.

Draft and file pleadings, motions, and correspondence.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and medical providers.

Analyze medical and legal records to support case development.

Collaborate with case managers and legal assistants.

Participate in negotiations and mediations.

Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in California, or awaiting California Bar results.

Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Apple technology and case management software (MerusCase or FileVine preferred).

Bilingual English/Spanish highly valued.
