The Boeing Global Data Management team is seeking several Entry Level Aviation Data Specialist’s (Virtual) to join the team in Centennial CO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS).

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Centennial, CO.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a Aviation Data Specialist, capable of analyzing source documents to update critical flight data that establish the foundation of many Boeing Digital Solutions product lines. You are adept to understand and apply processes and computational tools to maintain databases. It is important that you possess a keen attention to detail and are agile to grasp data analytics and content management systems. As a Geospatial Technician, you will work closely with senior peers to grow your effective experience and reach autonomous decision making ensuring conformance to regulatory and contractual compliance. You also have strong interpersonal skills to work with subject matter experts as well as peers to meet deliverable production deadlines.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compiles, analyzes, formats and updates flight critical data gathered from various source documents, using established processes and computational tools to create and/or maintain assets.

• Must meet established performance metrics and customer delivery deadlines.

• Makes designated corrections noted against the asset, from quality assurance checks.

• Requests clarification of source and specification issues as needed.

• Receives considerable technical direction, training, and guidance from designated coach(es), more senior analysts, and leadership as required or requested.

• Works towards setting, planning, and completing strategic business goals and objectives in partnership with leadership.

• Partners to troubleshoot software, hardware, and asset specific tool issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in aviation or aviation navigation related activities.

• Basic hardware/software troubleshooting skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

• Experience in CAD/CAM software.

• Experience and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Experience working with GIS (Geospatial Information Systems).

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

RELOCATION:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Colorado Summary Pay Range: $42,500.00-$58,500
