** Position Summary:**

Metal Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Bookkeeper to support our accounting and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working with numbers, and wants to build a long-term career in accounting within a hands-on, industrial environment.

** Compensation:**

• ** $41,000 – $52,000 annually** , based on experience and qualifications

** Key Responsibilities:**

• Process accounts payable and receivable with a high level of accuracy
• Match invoices to purchase orders and verify discrepancies
• Reconcile bank statements and internal financial records
• Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation
• Assist with payroll support and timekeeping verification
• Support month-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting)
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
• Assist with job costing and tracking expenses related to projects (preferred)

** Qualifications (What We’re Looking For):**

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
• 0–2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or office experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry accuracy)
• High attention to detail—errors in this role can impact financial reporting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, blue-collar/manufacturing environment
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) is a plus

** Work Schedule:**

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
