Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Strategic Partner Associate, you will:

• Contribute to the management and development of systems, reporting and tracking the success of the strategic partner across all phases of partner management
• Design and implement tracking systems that can be used by sales, partner management and others (these can include sales, special programs/promotions)
• Communicate across IBM and partner teams as you understand and help improve our partner management process
• Understand excel, word and be a quick learner for our internal systems
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment to understand requirements, that will benefit IBM and the partner in understanding our business together and recommend changes that will enhance our partnerships.

• You are highly motivated and have a passion for creating and supporting great products.  
• You are great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
• You can learn new skills quickly and use the skills efficiently but patience to get through a steep learning curve
• You thrive on collaboration, working side by side with people of all backgrounds and disciplines, and you have very strong verbal and written communication skills.  
• You are not afraid to take on new challenges, hardworking, careful, detail-oriented, and a good team player who wants to help others.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Basic knowledge working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 6 months experience working in a cross functional business environment
