We are hiring a motivated Community Outreach Assistant to join our team and support event-based outreach efforts. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience coordinating and attending in-person community events that build awareness and foster strong connections.
What You’ll Do:
Help plan, organize, and execute outreach events, workshops, and community programs
Represent client organizations at public events and awareness campaigns
Act as a liaison between clients and community partners or stakeholders
Prepare event materials, signage, registration forms, and promotional items
Greet and engage event attendees, answer questions, and encourage participation
Collect and analyze attendee feedback to measure event impact
Maintain detailed records of contacts, attendance, and outreach activities
Assist with follow-up communication to nurture community relationships
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, or related field preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and punctual
Comfortable working in fast-paced, in-person settings
Flexible availability for occasional evenings and weekends
Authorized to work in the United States
