    JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:

    BOEING is hiring for an ENTRY LEVEL ELECTRONIC/MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER for our KENT, WA location.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists in development of electronic architecture and detailed specifications for various electronic products.

    • Assists in development of detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.

    • Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design.

    • Gathers data for technical performance measures.

    • Assists in providing engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. Assists with trade studies and literature research to support future product designs. Works under close supervision.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILL/EXPERIENCE):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher by the end of December 2022 with a concentration in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mathematics

    TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

    • In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    RELOCATION:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
