    Entry-Level Equipment Mechanic - We Will Train

    Full-Time | Year-Round Work | Productivity Incentives

    Are you mechanically inclined and interested in turning that ability into a career? We are looking for a hands-on person to join our Oregon service shop and train as an equipment mechanic.

    Professional mechanic experience is not required.

    If you have experience working on your own vehicles, equipment, motorcycles, machinery, or other mechanical projects, we want to hear from you.

    We're more interested in your mechanical ability, willingness to learn, and ability to work with your hands than a specific certification or previous job title.

    What You'll Start With

    Oil and fluid changes'

    Fuel and oil filter replacement

    Hoses and fittings

    Basic preventive maintenance

    Equipment inspections

    Cleaning and preparing equipment for service

    Basic component removal and replacement

    Assisting with larger repairs

    What You Can Learn

    Bearings, seals and wear components

    Hydraulic hoses, pumps, motors and cylinders

    Mechanical component replacement

    Hydraulic troubleshooting

    Electrical troubleshooting

    Diagnosing equipment problems

    Independently completing equipment repairs

    *You don't need to know how to do all of this today. That's what we're prepared to teach you.

    Training & Support

    Training and support may include:

    Hands-on equipment training

    Working with experienced technicians

    Remote support from mechanics at our other service locations

    Direct manufacturer technical support

    Manufacturer training opportunities

    Paid travel opportunities for specialized training

    What We're Looking For

    Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools

    Some hands-on mechanical experience, including personal projects

    Ability to perform or learn basic maintenance and minor repairs

    Enjoys figuring out how mechanical things work

    Willing to learn new equipment and systems

    Takes pride in completing work correctly

    Interested in developing mechanical skills into a career

    What You DON'T Need

    Professional mechanic experience

    Diesel mechanic certification

    Concrete equipment experience

    Experience rebuilding diesel engines

    Experience with every machine or manufacturer we sell
