Job Description

Lettermans is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Entry-Level Estimator to join our team in Denham Springs. This is a newly created position ideal for someone with a working knowledge of construction drawings and an interest in signage and graphics. The estimator will play a key role in reviewing bid opportunities and preparing accurate takeoffs and bid submissions for specialty signage and print projects.

Lettermans bids a wide range of commercial projects, with a focus on:

ADA Braille Signage

Wayfinding Signage Systems

Custom Printed Wallcoverings

Key Responsibilities:

Review project opportunities from customer portals, ConstructConnect, and the business development team

Evaluate scope and determine project fit based on Lettermans’ capabilities

Conduct takeoffs from construction documents and architectural plans

Prepare RFIs, prior approval submittals, and seek clarification from architects or contractors when needed

Assemble final bid packages for submission to general contractors or internal team members

Track bid submissions and maintain records in coordination with sales and operations

Support the continuous improvement of estimating processes and accuracy

Qualifications:

Associate degree, some college coursework, or bachelor’s degree preferred

Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and estimating concepts

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email tools

Strong written communication skills for professional correspondence

Detail-oriented and well-organized

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Working Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
