    Associate Attorney – Family Law (Entry-Level, In-Person) We are a boutique matrimonial and family law firm in downtown Chicago seeking a newly licensed Illinois attorney to join our growing team as a full-time, in-person Associate. As an Associate, you will work closely with senior attorneys on all aspects of contested and uncontested divorce, parentage, allocation of parental responsibilities, support, and post-decree matters. Responsibilities: • Conducting client intakes and participating in strategy meetings • Drafting petitions, responses, motions, financial affidavits, settlement agreements, and discovery • Appearing in court on motions, status hearings, and pre-trials (with appropriate supervision as needed) • Assisting with mediations, settlement conferences, and trials • Performing legal research and writing memoranda on procedural and substantive family law issues Qualifications: • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school • Admitted to practice in Illinois, or awaiting Illinois bar results, with the intent to be licensed promptly • Demonstrated interest in family/matrimonial law (coursework, clinics, clerkships, or internships) • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills • Excellent communication skills and a client-centered, empathetic approach • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines • Prior clerkship, 711 license experience, or other courtroom exposure is a plus, but not required Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 yearly
