Benefits for eligible full-time agents include medical, dental, life, and long-term disability coverages, 401(k), and pension⁵ For more information about commission-based income and benefits for financial professionals, please follow this link: https://www.newyorklife.com/careers/financial-professionals/income-and-benefits Responsibilities: • Aid clients in implementing financial recommendations such as savings plans, life insurance, mutual funds, and other financial products • Identify, seek, and establish prospects continuously and create strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given • Develop and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on financial and goal objectives • Engage and educate clients on how to plan for their financial future so that they are prepared for the unexpected life events/circumstances they may encounter • Cultivate relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security • Grow your network by being involved in your community and professional groups • Drive to add 50 new clients a year • Increase your knowledge within the financial industry and achieve specializations by following the New York Life training curriculum • Leverage marketing and social media tools to identify, pursue, and secure new clients who can benefit from having a trusted financial service professional Qualifications: • Self-motivated individuals who take initiative • Strong communicators who enjoy building relationships • Coachable and open to feedback • Interested in long-term learning and growth, not just a short-term role • Track record of success and goal achievement • Uncompromising integrity • Ability to successfully build relationships • Excellent calendar management skills • Sales experience is preferred • Valid life and health license preferred, but we can assist with that • Valid FINRA Series 6 or 7 & 63/66 preferred but not required (we can assist you with this) Compensation: $100,000 + at plan earnings
