Entry-Level Installation & Service Technician
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Installation & Service Technician. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills in the home improvement and interior design industry. You will assist our experienced installers with the delivery, servicing, and installation of custom window coverings—including blinds, shades, and shutters—while learning the technical skills required to advance into a full-time installer role. In addition to supporting installations, you will also complete service calls, ensuring clients receive prompt, professional support when adjustments or repairs are needed. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable trade skills and grow within a supportive team. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Assist lead installers with the delivery and installation of window coverings in residential and commercial settings • Support service calls by diagnosing and resolving minor product issues • Load, unload, and organize materials and tools for daily jobs • Maintain a clean and professional job site and vehicle • Communicate effectively with team members and clients Qualifications: Ideal Candidate: • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn • Comfortable using hand and power tools • Able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail • Enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in craftsmanship • Possesses a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record • Prior experience in carpentry, construction, or similar trades is a plus, but not required This is a growth-oriented position designed for someone who wants to build a career in the window coverings industry. Training and mentorship provided. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
