About the Role:

Justin Goushaw Farm Bureau Insurance is looking for a motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative in Rockford, MI. Position Overview:

As an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative, you will learn how to identify client needs, recommend insurance solutions, and build long-term relationships within the community. Through training and mentorship, you'll develop the skills needed to grow a successful career in the insurance industry while helping individuals and families protect what matters most.

Key Responsibilities:

Build relationships with prospective and existing clients through phone calls, referrals, networking, and community involvement

Learn and present Farm Bureau insurance products and coverage options

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

Follow up with leads and maintain an active sales pipeline

Assist with policy reviews and uncover additional coverage opportunities

Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale

Maintain accurate client records and agency documentation

Participate in training and professional development programs to build insurance and sales expertise

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, coachable attitude and willingness to learn

Goal-oriented with a desire to achieve and exceed performance expectations

Self-motivated and comfortable initiating conversations with prospective clients

Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Professional, dependable, and customer-focused

Previous sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or relationship-building experience is a plus but not required

Ability to obtain required insurance licensing (agency support available)
