We want to add a motivated and personable new employee to our insurance agent team who is seeking a new learning opportunity with lots of room for growth. The ideal candidate for our Entry-Level Insurance Agent position has the solid communications skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Bring a friendly attitude and a passion for customer service, and we’ll invest our resources into training you to be a successful insurance sales representative! Responsibilities: • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies • Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current • Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible • Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims Qualifications: • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued • Must pass a background check • Must be 18+ years old (Federal Requirement) • Must currently reside in the United States • If you don't have a Life & Health License, must be willing to study and pass whichever state you're residing in Compensation: $90,000+ at plan commission
