We're looking for a motivated, compassionate, and committed legal administrative assistant to add to our thriving estate planning, probate, and business law practice. Responsibilities: Tasks Include: • Answering the phone, conducting client intake, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate Burch Law Team Member. • Communicate with clients about appointments, scheduling, etc. • Checking the mail as well as drafting and sending out mailings. • Ensure all client and potential new client interactions are accurately and thoroughly entered into our CRM and Case Management Software. • Formatting and printing documents. • Being a witness for document signing appointments. • Scanning, copying, and appropriately naming any documents that come into the office. • Working with clients to navigate our online client portal. • Must use Oxford Comma and pay great attention to detail in spelling of names of team members and clients. Qualifications: Our preferred candidate: • Has a GREAT personality and sense of humor. • Wants a long-term position. • No experience in a law firm is necessary. • Shows compassion when dealing with clients and has a talent for winning their confidence and respect. • Is willing to work hard to see that clients receive top-notch service and results. • We are looking for someone who has character, intelligence, and integrity, and someone who contributes positively to the atmosphere within the office. • No one who takes themselves too seriously or thinks that scanning a document is beneath them and will wash their own coffee cup. • Someone who believes in civil rights and equality for all. Compensation: $42,000 - $50,000 yearly
