Job Description

Join us as an Entry-Level Mass Spectrometry Scientist, supporting analytical testing for process development. You'll execute Mass Spec experiments, analyze data, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a safe, organized lab. This role offers hands-on experience, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities for growth in a dynamic research environment! Responsiblies will include:

• Support the analytical testing for process development
• Execute Mass Spectrometry experiments and perform data analysis
• Prepare buffers, set up, sterilize, sample, and clean systems
• Document laboratory activities electronically and enter process data into the database
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs
• Be responsible for following safe laboratory practices and for maintaining the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
• Assist in method development and optimization for Mass Spectrometry techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing research projects
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and conclusions
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and challenges

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field
• GXP related laboratory experience or knowledge
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LC-MS and mass spectrometry data analysis
• Strong communication, documentation, and technical report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and quick learning ability

Additional Information

Additional Details:

This position is Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off-shift hours as dependent on the project. Candidates living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
