Job Posting: Entry-Level Transmission Technician

Are you looking to get your hands dirty and build a career in specialized light duty Transmission Solutions & Rebuilds is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Mechanic to join our diesel transmission team.

We don’t expect you to be an expert on day one—we expect you to have a strong work ethic, a mechanical mindset, and a desire to learn how the biggest gears in the industry turn.

The Role

In this role, you will work alongside veteran builders to tear down, clean, and assist in the reassembly of light duty pick up transmissions. This is a "ground-up" position designed to turn an entry level mechanic into a specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Teardown & Inspection: Disassemble transmissions and organize components and perform inspection.

Parts Preparation: Use industrial parts washers and sandblasting equipment to prep all transmission parts.

Shop Support: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and manage fluid disposal.

Assisted Rebuilds: Work under the guidance of a Lead Tech to learn the precision tolerances required for high-end transmissions.

Tool Management: Keep shop tools organized and in good working order.

What You Bring to the Table

Mechanical Aptitude: You know your way around a toolbox and likely spend your weekends working on cars, bikes, or equipment.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet in a fast-paced shop environment.

Reliability: You show up on time, every time, ready to work.

Safety Mindset: You understand that in a shop with heavy machinery, following safety protocols is non-negotiable.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or some automotive coursework is a huge plus.
