Counselor to work overnight shift needed for residential mental health care facility in farmhouse setting in Somerset, NJ. Most of our residents have been diagnosed with bi-polar, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. Psychology/Social Work education/experience preferred. Ideal for current students. Supervise up to 14 adult "students" from around the US as well as many other nations. NOTE: The overnight shift generally runs from 5pm-9am (16 hrs) and is relatively light work. Interact with residents, supervise dinner, evening medications, tech time/phone time, occasionally transport a few residents to an AA meeting, evening ADLs, DAP notes. In the morning, supervise breakfast, morning medications, morning ADLs, DAP notes. Ideal for student using post-bedtime for studying. Overnights are typically quiet and uneventful but your vigilance is required. Two overnight shifts is an easy 32 hours, three shifts places you in overtime.
