Floor Interior Services Corp is a Florida-based flooring company proudly serving our communities since 2007. Known for excellence and strong partnerships, we’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry Level Operations Coordinator to manage our Tallahassee office operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, organization, and steady-paced work. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for our Lowe’s partner, coordinating flooring installation schedules, supporting crews, and maintaining smooth communication between customers, installers, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary coordinator for installation scheduling, communication, and completion tracking between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Communicate directly with Lowe’s associates and customers to confirm appointments and ensure readiness for installation.
Assign installers to jobs, maintain scheduling calendars, and follow up on work progress.
Track service calls, completions, and outstanding tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide timely updates to leadership.
Maintain organized records of installation paperwork and projects.
Monitor materials, deliveries, and any rescheduling needs.
Uphold company standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.
Assist with forklift use for warehouse or delivery coordination.
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
Report any store issues/concerns.
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
Phone, Email and Text interaction with our retail partner, installers, and customers.
Qualifications:
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Highly organized and time management skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
Customer service or scheduling experience preferred (construction or flooring industry a plus).
Strong understanding of flooring materials and installation methods. (preferred)
Forklift Certification required — or we can train and certify you.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
