    What You'll Do

    As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll become a vital part of our “Saving Sight Squad.” You'll work directly with patients, physicians, and our care team. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Gathering patient histories and inputting medical data
    • Taking diagnostic images and preparing patients for exams
    • Performing vision tests and assisting with in-office treatments
    • Daily paid travel to support our satellite clinics
    • Educating and comforting patients throughout their visit

    Who We're Looking For

    • Hold a valid Texas driver's license with a clean 3-year record
    • Willing to travel to day clinics (yes, we pay you for that time)
    • Bilingual in Spanish? That's a bonus!

    Physical Requirements

    This is an active, hands-on role. You'll need to be able to:

    • Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
    • Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
    • Perform tasks that require fine motor skills including stoop, kneel, bend and crouch
    • Specific vision abilities required for this role includes viewing multiple computer screens, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus and good vision
