    Job Description Qualification:

    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, California.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Assists in the development and deployment of internal/external process improvements, organization initiatives and projects/procurement activities.
    • Assists with the maintenance of processes and systems.
    • Utilizes procurement/planning systems to ensure planning, validation, and maintaining of all requirements for procurement analysis.
    • Supports the coordination and tracking of action items and metrics, supplier management procedures for planning, procurement plans, shortage mitigation, schedule validation, self-governance, and inventory analysis.
    • Utilizes existing processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
    • Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators.
    • Implements strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities
    • Participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies

    This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Shift:

    This position is for 1st shift.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Experience preparing reports in support of data analysis.
    • Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations.
    • Experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Previous Procurement experience.
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

    Relocation:
