    We support production at multiple sites around the St. Louis, Missouri area on the most sophisticated military aircraft in the world. Across BDS our teams support the next generation Air Force Trainer (T-7A); tactical fighter aircraft (F-15, F/A -18); Autonomous Systems (MQ-25), 777X, and much more!

    This job will have 9+ months of training in and around the St Louis/Berkley site until Full MRB Authority has been obtained or until there is a need at the Mascoutah site.

    • This position researches and builds knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.

    • Assists with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances.

    • Identifies analyses data, collects and evaluates data on findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues.

    • Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.

    • Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Assists with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability.

    • Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

    • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

    • Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

    • Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans.

    • Investigates technical problems.

    • Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

    • Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET accredited university in an Engineering or Computer Science related field, by the end of May 2023.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Familiar with Lean processes

    • Familiarity with manufacturing

    • Experience with CAD and NX

    • Experience with MS Office

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
