Position Summary

AXL Advanced isn’t just hiring anyone to run a laser cutter. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes tactical nylon gear. If you spend your free time tweaking plate carriers, comparing the latest Crye, Ferro, and Spiritus setups, and you know the difference between a real-deal rig and a clone, this is your moment.

In this role, you’ll start on our production floor—what we call “the pit.” Your top priority is mastering our CO2 laser cutting systems and becoming a go-to expert on turning raw materials into precision-crafted gear. But we’re not just teaching you the machines—this job is for the tactical gear addict who can talk shop about brands and loadouts like a pro.

What You’ll Do

Operate our CO2 laser cutting systems as your primary responsibility (this is the core of the role)

Assist with 3D printing and CNC operations as secondary tasks

Assemble, inspect, and pack tactical nylon components with the precision of someone who knows the gear inside and out

Share your tactical gear insights and opinions—we want someone who can name the major brands and show us their passion in the interview

Work closely with teammates to meet production goals and maintain a high standard of craftsmanship

In the interview, we’ll be reviewing your gear knowledge and your passion for the industry. This is a must. We’re not just looking for someone who wants to learn a machine—we want a true tactical gear enthusiast who’s ready to bring their passion into our production floor.

Qualifications

A deep, personal enthusiasm for tactical gear—you know the brands, you know the loadouts, and you can prove it

Strong interest in laser cutting as the primary skill (other production skills like 3D printing are secondary)

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

Willingness to share your gear knowledge and learn new production techniques
