    The Array Electronics and Advanced RF Packaging group conceptualizes, designs, develops, and produces cutting-edge phased array electronics. This group seeks innovative ways to package RF electronics in order to create more dense and integrated products.

    As an Early Career Engineer on the Space Electronics team you will work with a growing team and develop state-of-the-art phased array RF electronics to support the most critical programs across the Boeing Defense and Security enterprise. We collaborate with other groups across the company to develop high performance satellite payloads that we build in El Segundo.     Position Responsibilities

    • Develops and validates requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.

    • Develops and validates electromagnetic requirements for electrical\electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.

    • Develops architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms.

    • Performs trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.

    • Defines and conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.

    • Manages appropriate aspects of supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.

    • Provides support to products throughout lifecycle.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This worksite participates in Boeing’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.

    Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

    • Level 1: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering by June, 2023

    • Level 2: Masters degree in Electrical Engineering by June, 203

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

    • An active final U.S. Top Secret SCI Clearance

    • Coursework in RF/Microwave, Electromagnetics

    • Internship is a plus but not required in related field

    Typical Education/Experience

    • P1 - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    • P2 - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Summary pay range:

    • Level 1: $70,550 - $87,150

    • Level 2: $85,850 - $106,050

    A signing bonus may be available to candidates who have an active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI U.S. Security Clearance.
