The Opportunity
We’re seeking an Entry-Level Recruiter who is organized, proactive, and motivated to learn the recruiting business from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and takes pride in keeping people, calendars, and processes aligned.
You’ll support senior recruiters and clients across the recruiting lifecycle—starting with coordination and scheduling, with a clear path to sourcing, candidate engagement, and operational improvement.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple stakeholders and time zones
Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process
Maintain accurate and well-organized candidate records and recruiting data
Support job postings, candidate tracking, and pipeline management
Communicate professionally with candidates, clients, and internal teams
Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve issues proactively
Learn recruiting best practices, compliance fundamentals, and industry standards
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve execution
What You Bring
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Demonstrated ability to use AI and modern productivity tools intentionally to work smarter, reduce friction, and support high-quality execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing momentum
An agile mindset—you adapt quickly as priorities change
A proactive approach to work; you anticipate needs and take initiative
Ability to operate effectively as an independent contractor, managing time, priorities, and deliverables.
A genuine interest in learning recruiting, staffing, and talent operations
What Sets You Apart (Nice to Have)
Prior experience in coordination, scheduling, recruiting, or administrative support
Comfort working in client-facing or deadline-driven environments
Interest in government contracting, defense, or regulated industries
Engagement Structure
This role is offered as a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors operate as self-directed professionals and are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and work setup, while collaborating closely with the Praxis team to meet agreed-upon outcomes and timelines.
