Time with NM: Since 1992.
Prior Experience: Joined Northwestern Mutual as the agency’s first college agent and progressed through multiple leadership roles including College Agent, Special Agent, College Unit Director, Field Director, Managing Director, and Managing Partner.
Passionate About: His faith and community involvement, including supporting organizations such as Our Fathers House Soup Kitchen.
Renata Carvalho, Managing Director (MD):
Time with NM: Since 2019.
Prior Experience: Economist with an Executive MBA from Florida Atlantic University and extensive experience in global business management across financial planning, sales, procurement, logistics, and marketing within multinational corporations. Licensed in over 20 states with expertise in international business and financial literacy initiatives.
Passionate About: Advocating for immigrants, women, and minorities, fostering inclusivity and equality, supporting the LGBTQ+ community, golfing, and helping individuals pursue personal and financial growth opportunities.
Linda Buccilli, Managing Director (MD):
Time with NM: Since 2011.
Prior Experience: Began her Northwestern Mutual career in 2011 and quickly achieved strong early success, earning multiple Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, Long Term Care Leader Awards, and Million Dollar Round Table recognition. She currently serves as a District Director and Long Term Care Specialist leading a diversified team of Financial Advisors.
Passionate About: Long Term Care education and planning, spending time with family and friends, supporting her community through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, and advocating for client financial security through holistic planning.
Irene Barish, Managing Director (MD):

Prior Experience: Former Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse who transitioned into financial services to create greater flexibility and long-term opportunities for her family while helping clients build confidence in their financial future.
Passionate About: Helping clients make informed financial decisions so they can worry less and do more, spending time with her family, and balancing career success with family life alongside her husband and two sons.
About the Financial Representative Role: As a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, you will be part of a team that helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. Your role involves building long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement.
Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients' assets and income.
Ongoing Support: Monitor clients' financial plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.
Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance or business development is beneficial but not required.

Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
