After completing the Fundamentals of Tax Preparation course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare basic-level individual income tax returns — you may even be able to supplement your income by working as a paid tax preparer during tax season!

This year's tax school is Tuesday's and Thursday's, in Lubbock, from 5:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. Starts on Tuesday, Sept 23rd and Ends on Thursday, October 16th. After successful completion of the Tax School you can apply to be a Tax Pro for the 2025 / 2026 Tax Season, with possible full-time opportunities.
