Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Entry-Level Warehouse Worker to support our fast-paced warehouse operations in Lisle, IL. This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for someone starting their career in logistics or AV technology support. No prior warehouse experience required—we provide on-the-job training. You'll help ensure our high-end AV equipment is received, organized, picked, packed, and ready for our installation teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of AV equipment, cabling, parts, and accessories; verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
Label, store, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations using our inventory system.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for installation crews or client deliveries, ensuring accuracy and secure packaging.
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventory audits, and maintain accurate stock records.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe (e.g., clear aisles, proper storage, waste disposal).
Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks; forklift training may be provided if needed).
Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned, including staging materials for upcoming jobs.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent experience).
Entry-level—no prior warehouse or AV experience required; enthusiasm to learn is key.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand/walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and climb ladders/stairs.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, labeling, and documentation.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a small team.
Basic computer skills (comfortable learning our inventory/ordering system).
Positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
Valid driver's license preferred (for occasional local pickups/deliveries).
Full-time, Monday–Friday (typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; occasional flexibility for incoming shipments). Overtime available as needed.
