    Entry-Level Water Management Engineer (EIT) – Field-Based

Location - Florida | Work from Home + Field | Company Vehicle Provided

Are you an Engineer-in-Training who’s ready to get out of the office and into the field? Join Masuen Consulting, LLC, where practical fieldwork meets environmental purpose—and where your engineering career starts with hands-on impact.

    What You’ll Do

As an entry-level Water Management Engineer (WME), you’ll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that includes horticulturists, arborists, landscape architects, agronomists, agriculturalists, agricultural engineers, civil and environmental engineers, and construction managers.

You’ll be working outdoors most days—evaluating sites, collecting data, and helping implement technical solutions for water use, stormwater management, wetlands, and irrigation systems.

This is a field-based position located in Florida, with travel throughout the region in a company-issued vehicle. You’ll work from your home-based office when not in the field.

    What You’ll Work On

    • Site assessments and water balance studies

    • Irrigation evaluations (agriculture, golf, and landscape)

    • Wetland permitting support and environmental documentation

    • Water use permitting

    • Stormwater analysis and BMP implementation

    • Working with senior engineers and environmental specialists on reports and designs

You’ll be supported with training and mentorship, while gaining experience with advanced tools, permitting processes, and practical environmental design.

    What You Bring

    • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, or agricultural engineering from an ABET accredited U.S. university

    • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification (or eligibility to obtain it soon)

    • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    • An interest in hands-on, field-based engineering work

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • A positive, team-oriented mindset and a desire to grow

Background checks and drug testing are required as part of the hiring process.

    What We Provide

    • A company vehicle, laptop, necessary field equipment, and cell phone

    • Air travel, if needed

    • Competitive entry-level salary and full benefits

    • Mentorship and growth opportunities in a supportive environment

    • A tight-knit team working across Washington, Florida, and Texas

    • The chance to launch your engineering career with meaningful, real-world work

    Why This Role Matters

We believe early-career engineers do their best work when they’re learning by doing—not just behind a desk. In this role, you’ll build technical skill, gain real project experience, and help shape smarter, more sustainable water systems across the region.

Come join a dynamic team where your first years as an engineer lay the foundation for a long, meaningful career. Grow into all you were created to be while solving real-world water challenges.

Flexible work from home options available.
