As a Mobile Associate, you are the face of the "Un-carrier." You will work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to engage customers, demonstrate the latest 5G technology, and recommend personalized service plans. This is a developmental role—within your first 90 days, you will undergo intensive on-the-job training to prepare for promotion to a Mobile Expert.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Welcome customers and guide them through their shopping journey, whether they started online, through Care, or are walking in for the first time.
Consultative Selling: Use "side-by-side" selling techniques to explore customer needs and recommend devices, accessories, and IoT solutions (like syncUP or tablets).
Tech Demonstration: Use digital tools to show off T-Mobile’s network coverage and teach customers how to use the T-Life app and other self-service features.
Problem Solving: Partner with your team to resolve customer issues on the spot, ensuring a "run-around-free" experience.
Lead Generation: Identify opportunities for small business (B2B) leads and hand them off to the appropriate business sales partners.
Requirements
Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
Experience: 6+ months of customer service or retail sales experience is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
