As a Project Associate, you will support our Project Managers in executing large-scale initiatives—ranging from 5G network expansions to retail software rollouts. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who thrives on organization, clear communication, and seeing a plan come to life.
Key Responsibilities
Task Management: Monitor project schedules and ensure all team members are hitting their "milestones" on time.
Documentation: Maintain and update project repositories (SharePoint, Jira, or Confluence) with the latest project plans, meeting minutes, and status reports.
Resource Tracking: Assist in tracking project budgets, equipment orders, and vendor invoices to ensure we stay on track financially.
Meeting Facilitation: Schedule project "syncs," prepare agendas, and capture action items to ensure no detail is missed.
Stakeholder Updates: Help draft weekly status summaries for leadership to show project health and progress.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a point of contact between departments like Engineering, Marketing, and Retail to ensure everyone is aligned.
Risk Identification: Flag potential "roadblocks" (delays in shipping, budget overruns) to the Project Manager before they become major issues.
Process Improvement: Identify ways to make our workflows faster and simpler—true to the T-Mobile spirit of "ruling out complexity."
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
The Basics
Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with project tools like Smartsheet, Trello, or Jira is a huge bonus.
Communication: Ability to explain complex updates in a simple, "human" way.
The "Un-carrier" Fit:
Energy: You bring a positive, "can-do" attitude to every meeting.
Adaptability: You can pivot quickly when priorities change (and at T-Mobile, they change fast!).
Detail-Oriented: You’re the person who catches the typo in the spreadsheet that everyone else missed.
