SUMMARY OF THE ACCOUNT MANAGER POSITION: EnvelopiQ is looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. EnvelopiQ Account Managers are viewed as the subject matter expert on a wide array of leading-edge technologies.

- Building and maintaining subject matter expertise of leading operational technologies including, but not limited to:
- Video Surveillance and Electronic Access Control
- Audio/Visual Systems
- Professional Sound and Intercom
- Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Possess strong business acumen and able to take initiative
- Create new relationships through industry networking and community philanthropy.
- Flexibility of working outside of normal hours, as required.
- Estimating and Proposal Activities Responsible for generating engineered estimates and proposals using EnvelopiQ estimating tools
- Identify all opportunities offered by Envelop and work with your colleagues in a collaborative fashion.
- Expected to maintain active involvement in the professional community
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of Sales Experience
KNOWLEDGE:
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written, verbal and presentational communication skills
- Time management and multitasking skills in order to handle multiple tasks and clients at once
