    IF SO, YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF:

    • Managing large construction processes to transform healthcare facilities
    • Working with multiple sub-contractors, facility managers, vendors and leadership roles to ensure a project is implemented as planned and designed
    • Managing budgets, schedules, timelines and ensuring cost controls for project

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Select and coordinate architecture & engineering firms, contractors, and other owner selected vendors
    • Design and construction quality control
    • Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
    • Prioritize and service multiple projects.
    • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring they adhere to quality standards.
    • Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
    • Develop agenda sheets, memos, and makes presentations as necessary.
    • Attends weekly team and client meetings to discuss any issues and new design ideas.
    • Represents the project as a contact for client and consultant interaction.
    • In accordance with policies, applicable laws, regulations, and codes, clearly communicates and reviews outcomes to appropriate contacts.
    • Propose effective design solutions to meet project goals.
    • Analyze design issues and suggest corrective actions.
    • Facilitates change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
    • Evaluate code compliance.
    • Managing and improving processes.
    • Contributes to business development by fostering client confidence, actively encourages and seeks opportunities for follow-up business, and develops and participates in interviews for potential projects.
    • Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations.
    • Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
    • Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.
    • Identifies and communicates methods of getting things done, which have the highest probability of success while using minimal resources.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
    • Seek ways to streamline and improve efficiency of future projects.

    REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

    • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited institution in a related field
    • 2-4 year of experience in the field or in a related area
    • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Proven experience in project management
    • Wide degree of creativity
    • Executive level communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
    • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
    • Able to complete projects in a timely manner

    PREFERRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

    • PMP Certification preferred but not required
    • Experience overseeing design and construction, preferably within healthcare
    • Budget management experience
