    Part-Time, Seasonal Service Technician needed. EnviroSharp is searching for detail-oriented individuals with a high work ethic to hire automotive water damage remediation technicians. Our service techs strictly work on vehicles at car dealerships that have primarily had odor or environmental damage due to an undetected water leak. You must be able to work independently which requires a high level of self-discipline, work ethic, and integrity. The majority of our customers are repeat customers and know when a job is being done right. All jobs are photographed in stages by the service tech therefore your work is on display not only for us internally to view but for our customers as well. Your training will be hands-on and supervised therefore you are not required to have had prior experience in this extremely niche service tech field. Our goal has been and has proven to be that within the process of becoming a service tech & progressing through the various levels of this job, you will ultimately be more prepared to advance in any career you are aspiring to enter whether it be internally with us or in another field or company. Compensation: $324 per job flat rate Benefits: • Company Vehicle is available for most jobs. If an employee vehicle is used, a per diem is provided. • Industry-specific certifications are not required but are sponsored by the company if desired by employees. • All company vehicle costs are covered: gas, maintenance, tolls, insurance, car washes, etc. • All tools and supplies for the job are provided. • Paid training. Responsibilities: • Meticulously clean vehicles that have been damaged due to water intrusion • Strictly adhere to the process by which you will be trained to remediate these cars: do not get the steps of the process out of order, make sure that each step of the remediation process is done to completion, and make sure that each step is done with one objective in mind which is exhaustive attention to detail • Travel Plans: make sure each day is planned out ensuring an on-time arrival time between 7:30a - 8:00a and that all of your hydration and food intake needs are factored into each day's travel plans • Manage inventory levels at the storage facility weekly and in your car daily. You need to be able to get on the road and never show up at a job without supplies or materials necessary to finish the job, keep certain backup supplies on hand, and be able to stock up when needed without ever causing a delay for a job due to a missing tool, piece of equipment, solution, etc. • Communication: you must be willing to embrace communicating in person with car dealership service garage personnel, you have to be willing to answer any questions they may have for you on-site, and have the mental acuity to know when to respectfully pass along questions to leadership that you are not equipped or prepared to answer, educate our customers on the process once you have been educated, and speak with humility and gratitude with our customers recognizing that without them we don't have a business Qualifications: • Be able to lift 75 pounds from the ground • Be able to work outside and be exposed to temperature variations • Be able to be exposed to dirt, dust, and other environmental factors that come along with working outside in a parking lot or in a service garage as well as any chemical exposures that come with working in a car dealership service garage and working with a higher percentage H2O2 & plant-based antimicrobials • Be able to drive up to 2.5 hours one way to a job site • Be able to work with a respirator on during various points of the job, wear gloves for the majority of the job, and wear long sleeves and pants (no shorts) • Authorized to work in the US and have a high school diploma or equivalent • Comply with all company policies regarding safety and equipment maintenance • Keep up with repairs and maintenance on the company vehicle • Keep your company vehicle's exterior washed and the interior cleaned weekly or bi-weekly • Keep a written record of inventory levels for all supplies and materials needed for a job, communicate when inventory levels are low, and ensure daily that all materials and supplies that are needed for a job are in your vehicle prior to leaving for a job site • Must be able to show up at a job site between 7:30 am - 8:00 am and schedule your arrival time based on GPS travel times • Need a safe (preferably covered if you have one available) parking space at or near your home to keep the company vehicle overnight • Do not need a college degree but you will need a high level of character & integrity that allows you to work independently, humility that allows you to be teachable, mental and physical toughness, and hungry for the work we will provide Compensation: $324 per job flat rate
